Open Question: Can I spray my Vans Dust and Water shield on my leather boots?

I got some new boots http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=333124&CategoryID=65&LinkType=PDPZ1 for my fair and they came back looking like they were 100 years older than they were! I was really concerned and remembered I had purchased a can of Vans Dirt and Moisture repellent a couple months ago for my canvas Vans. The spray says it will work on leathers (NOT patent leathers though) but I'm not sure if I should spray the stuff on my boots. I REALLY don't want to ruin my boots! I sprayed the stuff inside the boot to see what happens but what about drying out the leather, etc.? Should I be concerned? Thanks!... Read More »
